Flashback Fridays: Las Vegas

Writer: Artilya KArtilya K

Have you ever been to Las Vegas? Were you only there to gamble? Do want to do something else besides gamble so you can leave Vegas feeling good about your choices? Well let me tell you there is so much more to Las Vegas than gambling! For those of us who are not huge gamblers, there is a lot of other things to experience. In this first edition of Flashback Fridays, I am going to tell you about two of my favorite places I visited while in Vegas.

Are you fancy? Do you want to feel fancy? Well Top of the World Restaurant is the place for you! Located in the STRAT Tower, it is revolving restaurant that shows a beautiful view of the city. I recommend going at night because the city lights are beautiful. The picture does not do it justice! I must warn you! It is on a bit of the pricey side, but it is well worth it! The atmosphere is like a high-class lounge but has regular tables for dinner. The food was really good. I never knew scallops and mashed potatoes could look so well put together Lol. My friend got the seafood platter and it was good as well. They let me sample *smile*

It is great for a date night or a day you just want to feel fancy. Be sure to make reservations because it is very popular!

Do you feel the need for speed? Ever dreamed of test driving the car of your dreams and really let loose? Exotics Racing is the place to really let your hair down and test your driving skills. There are various experiences

and cars to choose from so you have a wide variety. You drive five (5) laps around their track and can pay for more. On average you are paying about $300 to drive one car, but it is well worth the experience! They give you the option to drive more than one car through a special package and you can easily spend all day there. Training is given before you even hit the track and there is plenty of opportunities for photos and videos. If you just want to experience the power of the drift, they give you the option to ride with a professional driver drifting along the track. It is an amazing experience! So, check it out!

What are your favorite places you have visited in Las Vegas besides the casinos? Let me know in the comments.
